| These poor people! Their husky got out of her leash and ran off. Someone FOUND her, called them and said they'd meet them (demanding a reward) and never showed! They're keeping her! Please share to try to get Sasha back to her REAL family! Heartbreaking! "Hello, My name is Yadira and I am contacting you per suggestion by another Husky lover and friend. My husky Sasha has gone missing since 8/11/2012 in the Richmond, CA area. She is micro-chipped and spayed; very well taken care of. She left home; two weeks prior she had figured out how to unleash herself. This happened while I was out on vacation and my partner was taking care of her. Someone called my partner on 8/16 said they had her and that she was not eating and depressed; this person mentioned having found her a block away from home; and taking her in; also mentioned that "his wife" really liked her but he was interested in a reward, which was promised to him. He called from a blocked number; and had agreed to meet with my partner and daughter after work. He never called back and I have canvassed the entire block in which she was said to have been found. No one has seen her. We miss her terribly and would like to know if you can also have her information of Lost Pet. We have gone to shelters but they all seem un-helpful..and at best just overburdened with other lost pets. If so it will greatly be appreciated. Her info: Medium size; grey white color coat; Brown clear eyes, 3 years old /spayed, = she was a rescue from SF animal control. 3/2011, Micro-chip # 9810200005028034 She graduated from basic obedience school; will do all basic comands; does understand English and Spanish commands; and at the time that I left for vacation she had been taught to be off leash at the dog park and return on command. She loves swimming; hiking; singing ( a natural) when you break out a guitar. She lived and shared a life with a German Shepard mix female dog by the name of Noche. whom she loved and adored." |

| This is so terrible. My heart goes out to these folks! Something similar happened when I first got my girl but the lady showed up for the reward. Have they posted signs and a reward? Hope they get their baby back soon! |

| Yes, I believe they have. So sad. I think some people keep the dog thinking that if it got away, it doesn't want to be with it's owners anymore or the owner didn't care enough about them. |

| What jerks. I hope the chip can be used and Sasha retuned to her rightful family and these "people" who found her and didnt return her get what they deserve. |

| Thanks, guys! Someone posted on FB that the telephone company can pull that phone number. Technically, he's a stolen dog now and I advised the friend who sent me this to pass on that they should file a police report. Fingers crossed they get Sasha back! People suck...<sigh> There's so many homeless huskies in the San Francisco area that this is unnecessary - get your own dog, folks! |

| Can they not use the chip to prove the owners at all? I'm not sure about the rules in the US but I know in the UK we have had a few cases where people have been able to demand their dog back with the microchip details.
I really hope they come to their senses and give them their beautiful fur baby back! |

| This happened to my Dad with his two Brittany spaniels. My brother found out who had them on craigslist. |
