| I can't decide and I want to get a new one for Cato. The webmaster is pretty pricey though my dear! |

Right now they have a special on the discontinued webmaster harness. They only have small butt it goes up to 27" and that would fit both my dogs. http://www.ruffwear.com/Web-Master-Harness_3?sc=2&category=11010 If you need a bigger one, I have an Ezydog chest plate harness that I need to sell. I bought it for Dakota and never got the chance to use it. |

| I have both the chest plate harness and ezy fit harness from EZYDog.
Storm managed to wiggle out of the chest plate harness with ease and the ez fit harness may be easy to slip off also.
If you're looking for a secure harness that a husky won't be able to slip out of, go with the webmaster harness by ruffwear. if you get the palisades pack, the packs detach from a webmaster harness so you get 2 in 1.

Aha! I went with the webmaSter because Claudia warned me about the slipping out. We were going camping and needed the most secure harness I could find. It was a little pricey. They're really durable though. IMO. |

| I decided to go with a cheap harness for now, and then whe he gets bigger I am going to get them both nordkyn xback harnesses. I really like them, but I don't want to get one while Cato is still growing |

I got the recreation harness for Storm from Nordkyn and they didn't make it right even thought I sent in the correct measurements. The second one that was sent still wasn't made right, and compared to the x-back harnesses I got from Alpine Outfitters, it prefer the Alpine harnesses WAY better. I never had the horrorible wait time for my harnesses from Alpine, and I got responses from Alpine's customer service OK and ended up with a couple of extra freebies. I'd go with Adanac for an x-back if you don't want to see if Alpine will send you a harness in a timely manner or not. Also, when I called for an x-back harness for Storm when he was still losing weight, both Adanac and Alpine said the harness will still fit if your dog gains or loses 10 lbs. _________________ |

| Alright. I'll admit my only worry with alpine was the wait time.
I'm worried he will gain more than 10lbs - as he is only at 38lbs |

I'm worried he will gain more than 10lbs - as he is only at 38lbs then you should wait to order it...also, just keep in mind the sledding season, so you if you want to go with Alpine, your best bet would be to wait until late winter or early spring. Or order through Adanac.... _________________ |

| Alright, I was going to wait regardless, because he is still growing. I'm thinking the quick fit would be nice for now. |

Are you getting it just to get 'a harness' and not for safety or being secured? Because if it is also so they don't slip out, the quick fit is not the harness to get, neither is the chest plate harness from EZYDog.....just saying....the quick fit is easy for you to get on and off, and so is the chest plate, but I watched Storm get out of it without a struggle in less than 2 minutes. _________________ |

| Hmmmm true. I haven't had a problem with him yet, but it may be worth it to get the webmaster I found it openbox, from backcountryk9 for 40. I'm assuming that's a good price? |

| I have 2 chestplate harnesses from EzyDog. I personally love them. I've had Embrys for over 2 years and it still in awesome shape and no one has ever escaped one... |

| I have the EZYDog Chest Plate Harness. http://www.wag.com/dog/p/ezydog-chest-plate-harness-199167
It's black.
It also comes with a seatbelt attachment so you can secure them in the car! That's the main reason why I bought this one. I also use it for walks with Juneau, and it doesn't strain her neck (she pulls).
I got a Medium and Juneau is 13 inches around the neck, and was 18 when I measured around the chest area (I've had to adjust it a few times, so probably around 20-21 now). She's 25 pounds. 4 months today.
So far, I really love it. It has gotten a little dirty, but I can finally drive safely without her tumbling all over my car. She hasn't tried to escape out if it yet. It has 2 clips on the side that snaps together. A D ring right in the center on the top of her shoulders.
I plan on upgrading to an Alpine or Nordkyn, too, but with Claudia's statement, I'll probably go with Alpine!
