How long are you letting her be outside? It's always been my understanding that if you think a puppy should have things to do outside, you wait until they do them. I know you can be outside for hours on end waiting for the dog to do things, but make sure your spend enough time out there for her to understand what goes on outside and reward her when she gets it right.

You need to hang out outside until she poops. If its a really long time, bring her in - the moment she starts to act like she needs to poop, get her outside. Doesn't matter what you are doing, take her out. She will eventually catch on.

It takes a lot of time and patience.


As far as worms, I would say at least a little while, because you will see dead worms as well.
