| Hi everyone, We have been with our puppy Sundae for a little over a month now. Sundae is 3 months old and is a very smart puppy and learns very quick. One thing that has really puzzled us is that we can't really figure out what coat colour he is.. Here are a couple of pictures... Face: His back half: His shoulder area: Top of his head: Underside: Please help us!! |

| I'd agree with wolf gray as well. Koda is wolf gray and when younger had similar coloring (but he did not have as much black, he was more of the cream-red with). I'd bet his coat color will lighten up a lot over the next couple of months though, especially his face. Koda has very little black to his coat now. This is Koda at 6 months (really wish his coloring stayed this way, especially the mask!): |

| I wouldn't be too sure of wolf gray. What did the breeder say when he was born? That's the only real way to tell at this point because their colors change so much with their puppy coats. Koda is a straight black and white, but look at him at 6 months old: _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Definitely wolf grey. My boyfriend and I have been researching colors to determine Ruby's coat as well. BTW, Sundae is so cute! |

| Thanks for all the replies!
We initially thought he was wolf grey but after reading the descriptions on huskycolors.com (they said wolf grey has a cream under colour but Sundae is white) we thought otherwise.
@Heather!: Yea we love Sundae's mask too!
@Koda: Breeder said he is black and white and his coat was darker when he was at 8 weeks when we brought him home. I know the coat colours as a pup is kind of a wild card. But Sundae does look a lot like Koda at 6 months. |

Of course they get darker and lighter with seasons and can change a lot, but if he was black and white as a pup, he will be black and white as an adult. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| He might be sable or wolf gray, a very subtle difference between the two! I've referred to this website several times, but I don't really know how reliable it is haha: http://www.huskycolors.com/colors.html#cat1 |

| Does Sundae not have cream undertones? In the photos I see cream throughout all the coat.

| @Andiusher: we were thinking sable too but I think he is closer to wolf grey @ Heather! : Sundae has more of a white colour under coat in person |

| Ah, if her undertones are not as cream as in the photos, I'd retract my statement. I'll say b&w. |
