| Has anyone even heard of this or feed this? We have this healthy pet center store. They carry all the natural foods, they had this one next to THK. I grabbed a flyer for it. This is why it caught my attention...lol It is a Canadian company but they also sell to the US. I am just curious! I love THK though! |

| NRG is good food. I haven't fed it for several reasons, one is availability, two is price, and three is the long wait time for rehydration. Aside from that I wouldn't hesitate to add it to my rotation. My pack would drive me up a wall if they had to wait 20-30 minutes for their food to rehydrate. _________________ |

| I have tried it also with Ginger and Storm, and it is a good good - but for reasons as Val stated, I also shy away from it. Rehydrating time isn't a factor for me because I make up a few servings in advance and put it in the fridge so all I would have to do is pull out the containers and serve. If I want to take the chill off, I have a hot water pot that keeps water at a boiling temp and I just splash the food with a little hot water and mix right before serving.
There are several other good dehydrated foods out there but cost is a factor.
Grandma Lucys has a line of dehydrated foods that I believe is less than THK - it's called Pureformance. But since THK is the only one that has a fish protein based formula, I only use Pureformance as a small mix in to THK to stretch out THK.

| NRG is awesome but so pricey. I prefer NRG because of the protein choices, but it's quite a but more than other dehydrated foods. I've never had an issue finding a distributer, but if I am going to pay over $100 for a premade food, I've go with Ziwipeak. Way more worth the hefty price tag. |
