I used these two supplements on my pups raw ;
http://naturalanimalsolutions.com.au/DigestaVite-Plus.html
http://naturalanimalsolutions.com.au/omega36&9-oil-for-dogs-horses.html

I realised that Titus is not eating his raw food whenever the DigestaVite Plus is on his food. He doesn't seem to mind the other one which is fish oil but he won't eat the first one. What should I do? Is it alright if I don't put that supplement in his food?
Before I got that supplement both of them was having yellow hard rock stools. Their stools are normal now after the supplements.

Personally, I feed coconut oil (which they love), flax seed oil and vitamin E. They do well on this and have normal poops - obviously a bit drier and lighter on a bone day, darker and shinier on a heavier organ day.

I don't use a probiotic supplement, instead I feed green tripe 1 - 2x a week and it seems to keep everything running quite smoothly. This is just my experience, I am sure the other raw feeders will be joining the conversation soon.

FWIW, I do know many in my Co-op who do not give supplements at all or who use berries and veggies to supplement in opposition got oils and vitamins. I'm sure there is more than one "right" way. Good luck!

Thanks Megan. The oil supplement I give is Omega 3, 6 & 9 Oil with Vitamin E which has Flaxseed oil, cod liver oil, sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil and natural vitamin E. I think that is enough oil and Vitamin E right?
So since Titus doesn't like the seaweed smell of the probiotic, I don't have to give him that and just give him some berries instead. He's not a fan of veggies either, no even if I puree it and mix it with his food Sad
I am new at raw feeding so I'm still not too sure on which supplement to use. I am open to suggestions. Thanks beforehand.

You could always try a different supplement and see how it goes. Some dogs just don't like certain things which may be the case. Keep in mind, supplementation on a proper, well balanced and varied raw diet is not absolutely necessary. Wink

Think I found a solution! VEGGIE ICE CUBES!!
I blend some broccoli, carrot and apple. Mix in 3 raw eggs and about 500gm of natural yogurt (no sugar, salt etc). Mix in their supplements. Mix thoroughly and freeze them with silicone ice cube tray. So each ice cube is 1 tablespoon of veggies, fruits and supplement mix. They get 1 ice cube after meal as dessert. Think they will like it because they always like ice sticks. Freezing now. Will add pics later.. Very Happy
