Another curious case of Saya being Saya! For some reason which I can't figure out Saya is becoming more attached to my sister. That is fine, since my sister loves her alot. What baffles me is that she does not obey my sister at all. Saya listens to me when I give her commands(except when I call her over. She only comes sometimes.) She does not walk properly on a leash with my sister, bites on the leash, bottom line she does not really listen to my sister, but seems more attached to her, meanwhile obeys me more often than not. Does your husky act this way as well? Does she sometimes seem more eager to play with strangers(Saya does this 24/7)?

Omg this is Kale! Haha He LOVES my boyfriend but doesn't listen to any commands from him and he is very mouthy. Cory lets him get away with it so i think that is a huge reason why. He actually scolded him for the first time this weekend and Kale started talking back like no ones business! Haha

Brooke huskies are one of a kind aren't they. Haha Saya comes with me to the door when they knock I tell her lets go, come on" and she comes with me to the door I think that is the only time I can guarantee that she will follow me. I live by a precinct and when she sees a cop I fear that I will get a ticket or something. She loves jumping on them Bottom line she seems like she enjoys stranger a bit more.

Balon gets "very excited" at the vet, its embarrassing really, hes barking, whining, jumping on people, then he gets the lab to going and I'm sitting there trying to hold onto the two terrors, last time I took them together they scared small children lol. They want to love people is all, but I don't blame the child she was scared lol. And god forbid someone comes to my door. They just get so crazy. So now I am taking them places like outdoor strip mall type centers and I walk them around, trying to desensitize them to these situations lol.

I would say she probably sees your sister as closer to her level in the pack. For example, looking back to her dog mommy and littermates, she associates you more with her dog mommy and your sister more as one of her other littermates. This happens at our house too. Saphire will behave wonderfully for my daugter unless I am around. If I am around she will only listen to me. She also plays differently with my daughter than with me. |
