are you trying to play with her and her toys or just thinking she will pick up a toy and play by her self? mine will either like or dislike toys maybe you have not found the kind she likes? have you taken her into the pet store and down the toy isle to see what she might pick out?

Jenn's idea is a great one. Take her to the petstore and see what sparks her interest. Koda can take some toys and totally leave others.

Either way, don't look a gift horse in the mouth... a husky that only wants to cuddle?! DREAM! Smile

Yeah we have tried taken her to petsmart and she still didnt have any interest in the toys. We have tried playing with her with and without toys and she might play 2 seconds then stop

She might just be more into playing with dogs. Has she always been like this? Or is this something new?

Yeah- keep trying, but she may just be more of a lover like Jenn said. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it is a change from her normal behavior, which is sounds like it's not, then it's nothing to be concerned about Smile

How long have you had her for again and where did you adopt her from?

EDIT: I checked out your welcome mat post again. Considering where she is coming from and the type of treatment she is used to, it doesn't surprise me that she's not 100% active. It may take her a long time to adjust and to fully trust you before she opens up. Koda was very mellow when we first got him, but after a few months he totally opened up and became a different dog and this is without abuse or neglect in his background. I wouldn't worry, but give her some more time too Smile

Chenook is the same way, no interest in toys when she does play it's only for bout a minute. At the dog park he does her own thing and ignores the other dogs, usually just wanders from person to person lookin for pettings. Go figure.

my dog did not seem very interested in toys until he had some competition Wink now he seems to like those toys that they make without the stuffing, they look like a bear rug or something, that is the house favorite:) good luck!
