We are in the morning. I just can't sleep so I'm racking my brain as to what to ask the vet tomorrow :/

I'm angry. I called the vet to make an appt. and they can't see her today. I'm limited to what I can do because my husband has to do the driving and he can't get more time off work to take her to another vet. She said she'd talk with the vets when they get out of surgery but the latest they can see her is 10:30 tomorrow :/ She's still lying on her bed but she's eating and drinking and being oddly mean to the cat...... O.o

Do you have anyone who can take you to another vet? Or someone who can watch your kiddos so you can take a taxi or something?

No unfortunately I tried all day to work something out and nothing came of anything. My husband will have to drop her off before work tomorrow at the vet and I'm just not comfortable with that. We're still trying to figure it out. Her condition hasn't changed at all but what bothers me is she isn't getting any better. This can't just be from shots. 2 whole days of laying around? My gut says it's something else.

Just remember though, when you do take her to the vet and he just dismisses it as the shots and you really feel it isnt, get a second opinion, She is your baby and your her mama, mama's intuition isnt only for human babies.

Gums are normal. But she stopped eating. I just called three e vets to get a price on an initial visit. Hoping we can take her tonight to see what's going on.

Poor Snow....I wonder if she is having a hard time passing what is left of the plastic. I just went through this with Balon you may remember when he ate the shipping bag. I feel like seeing the straining she is doing there maybe something caught inside that she is trying to get out. And it could be painful for sure.
Honestly she needs to be seen, and if that video is on your phone I would show it to the vet.
I hope you can get her in soon.
BTW she is so pretty!!!

Thank you Ruby
I think the husband didn't realize how bad she was until he got home and lay down with her awhile. He's going in late to work tomorrow so we're getting up at 7 to take her to the vet we'd rather her be going to anyway. I gave her benadryl around 8 and she's been sleeping mostly. She hasn't gone to the bathroom since I posted the video of her outside and she only licked a few tongue fulls of chicken broth.
Bless my mother's heart, who is a devout christian, asked us to anoint Snow's forehead with a bit of olive oil and pray over her. Those of you who do pray, please continue to do so for her. I love this dog just as I love my children.
I will update if anything further happens and will definitely let you all know how the vet goes. I picked her up earlier as I was going to put her in my bed with me and she whined pretty bad. I didn't even touch her legs :/ So something is going on but we'll find out hopefully tomorrow.

Snow is on her way to the vet. She hasn't gotten up since she went out to use the restroom yesterday and still hadn't eaten. My husband is taking her and I'm home with the kids because our youngest now has a fever. When it rains it pours. Will update as soon as I hear from him. I called them as he is on his way to let them know he's coming with her and told them what's been going on.
Pray for my little girl

She had a 104 fever when he got her there so they pumped her with fluids and gave her VERY strong antibiotics. He thinks she got an infection from the cat bite. So she now has antibiotic pills, pain meds and a special food. He said if she isn't up and running by tomorrow to call him.
We will no longer be taking her to our previous vet.
She's resting fine now. How do I keep the cat away from her? I'm terrified he's going to bite her again. I guess I can sit by her and spray him :/

Poor Snow! The antibiotics should do the trick. I hope she's better soon.
Did you see the circumstances of the bite? It might be that so long as she leaves the cat alone, the cat will leave her be - doesn't seem likely that the cat will run up and launch into an unprovoked attack. But I agree you should supervise them carefully. A squirt with water or a treat should get the cat away if you need to.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure that the vaccine weakening the immune system made her susceptible. Our cats are always getting into it with the dogs, so fear not, I'm sure she and Dexter can be hanging out soon!

Hi, I'm new here, and just read your post.
Yay! \0/ I'm glad to hear Snow is doing better! I will pray for her. I know that feeling of worry and helplessness. I love my Tundra just as I would love a child. It is scary when something goes wrong!!
Good luck, I'm glad that Snow is feeling better.
