| I always feed Saya at around 8 pm. She decided to skip her meal and did not touch her food. It is now 11pm she is desperately trying to reach her food and keeps barking. Should I wait to her next meal, or I'm allow to break the "feed at specific time rule."? |

| If you want her to remain scheduled, I would say some tough love is in order. She's not going to die because she skipped one meal. If anything, she'll learn not to skip anymore _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Tori is right, Axel gets super picky sometimes and will not eat what I give him at dinner time, so, well, love ya baby but you gotta wait till breakfast then. He knows he wont eat again till its time and will do it maybe once a month still, he is stubborn though. But its really no harm. |

| Lol although you girls were unable to see it I just did exactly what I think every husky does. You know when they get tired of trying t o get something, or just get tired of something period how they lay down and do this powerful "exhale" letting you know exactly how they feel. Lol well I just exhale just like she would. Although it kills me to see her go to sleep hungry. I guess you are right and she can wait until tomorrow (Exhale) |

| I'm an enabler - but I try to follow that rule...could you give her a treat - so its not her kibble? Maybe some chicken. That always make me feel better about making them skip. They have to earn it of course!
Thankfully, they don't skip now that we are on raw. |

| I seriously want to go raw with her but I feel like I will do an awful job with it. I have read alot about it but I don't feel comfortable going raw. Although honestly ever since I switched Saya from royal canin her poop has been soft, it is not as solid as it was before |

| My cali will eat when she wants- so i leave it out for her to eat. She is 5.5 y/o and stubborn. Her previous home free fed them. Mika though, she only gets 5 mins to eat and only needs 2 if that...so i take her bowl back in when done. Mika will go a few meals sometimes and she is fine.
i like the schedule thing, but also, do what you want. I like the calm feeding mika would be if she missed a meal and would feed her anyways. but with my job i don't have set sched for them to work with unless its morning and my Mika brand alarm clock goes off at 7:19 am, yes- 7:19- not :20 or 30..19!!!

Honestly, If Delilah didn't like a kibble she wouldn't eat it. She went 5 days, no one believe me but my fiance can attest to it. I would feed something higher in protein if I were you, Royal Canin isn't very high quality. Check otu Dogfoodadvisor.com - I personally only feed 5 star, but I know plenty who have perfectly healthy dogs on 4 star foods. |

| Well I'm slowly doing the transition by friday it should be all taste of the wild though. I honestly see the difference with taste of the wild although her stools are still a bit soft, it is not diarrhea like it was with wellness |
