| Good morning everyone, Recently, Dalton has become less interested in breakfast in the morning, sometimes not eating it at all. It has been a gradual change, so I don't think it is a health issue, however I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? He's 10 months old, weighs around 55, and gets 4 cups of food (total, 2am, 2pm). We are feeding him Taste of the wild, mixing up the flavor.
I wonder if he is just not hungry that early (between 7-8 on weekdays), or if we need to cut down on his food. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? How much do you feed your similarly aged dogs? Thanks in advance! |

| I was feeding only 2 cups max per day at that age. Maybe he's just not hungry, or maybe the change in weather is decreasing his appitite. |

| i would try and go to 3 cups a day and offer it in the morning and night, so 1.5cups each feeding, if he is still turning up his nose at the morning ones then just offer it at dinner, maybe hes just a once a day feeder..... Jack will refuse meals all the time when its summer. i would not worry about it. 4 cups of TOTW does seem like much. _________________ |

| Kiara won't eat in the morning in summer, only in the evenings. We are feeding taste of the wild pacific stream. |

| I don't feed maggie in the morning either. She won't eat it in the morning. She eats 3 cups max and she is 70 pounds. She will refuse to eat in them morning. I would take it away and give it to her in the evening. So I decided evenings she will eat. |

| I don't have that problem yet but I hear it is quite common with northern breeds. I agree, just try feeding in the pm see if that works. |

| Blaze will skip morning meals all the time..
He is 22 months and I only feed him 2 cups a day if he skips morning I add to it and give it to him in the evening,
Now Kerian will not skip any meals I am sure the reason is because she is a rescue living on the street for a while having to fight for anything she can get..
