Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | He has been a bad boy this afternoon. He climbed up on top of the couch, ran over the top of the couch to the top of the crate and I had my ear plugs resting on top (so stupid, didnt think he would ever get up there cause its so high) and he swallowed both before my girlfriend grabbed him and tried to finger sweep his mouth. Called the vet, she is sure they will pass and it wont be an issue. Says the stomach acid will break down the ear plugs. They are the squishy ear plugs that you squeeze and put in your ear. I am freaking out! Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated! |

| Well I don't have any experience with this yet, but I doubt that small of an object is a big worry. Just keep an eye on him. |

| I gave freya a marrow bone yesterday about lunch time for some quiet time.
After letting her out of her crate adn putting her in the laundry to eat her breakfast I found it in her morning poo. Went straight through, she didnt seem to be in any pain or anything from it., Hell I didnt even know she's swallowed part of it whole.
She did however have some dhiarrea this morning, but she has the most sensative tummy, she could have eaten a crumb of something with wheat in it and it would get her going.
She's back to firm BMs now.
I wouldnt worry. If youe vet thinks she'll be fine, I'd trust her opinion. |

| For our old girl sierra some times it can take up to 3 days for her to pass something she ate from either end. Just keep checking the poo and see if he stops eating or drinking. they should pass ok Welcome to the wonderful world of husky ownership! they start young _________________ |

| OMG my female greyhound used to poop out earplugs like it was her job! My husband is losing his hearing so he always has those yellow squishy ear plugs all over the house, she loved to eat them I have no idea why, but they always came out in tact the next day ewwww. |
