hello i am from around that area. i am about 40 mins east of T.O , I currently do not drive but once i am up and going again we should meet up half way. find a nice dog park or something.

I am west of Toronto about 40 minutes out, I drive.

I am from Toronto although I go to school in London. I'd be VERY interested in meeting up around Christmas or New Years when people are off work and less busy.

I made a Facebook group for Ontario Sibes and it has quite a few Toronto members. Meets would probably be easier to organize on there.

Yeah this post and theme are from almost a year ago. It may not be as active as it once was.



Honestly the best way to build up a Husky Huddle or meet up is to use the forums here. We have a few canucks floating around and a handful from the Ontario region.

Just pick a day you'll be going to a local dog park anyways, give a two week warning or so, and bump the thread time and again. It may not work the first time, or every time, but it is solid way to go about starting a group or meet up

I am from the GTA and would love to bring my two sibes for a group play date, any day and any time would be doable for me with the right amount of notice. I love watching them play with other Siberians. Demon is so cute when he sees them.

Putting this out there - there is a reunion from a husky breeder at the Totoredaca Dog Park in the Brampton/Mississauga border on Sunday May 5, 2013 @ 11am/12pm - I'll be there (along with the usual huskies that come there), so if anybody else is interested in joining, you are all more than welcome!

I am also about 30 min from Toronto I will keep my eye here to watch for meet ups...although weekends work best for me soccer and baseball take up the week nights,

Damn missed it. I live like 20 mins from that park lol. Aw well I'll try to make it to the next one :p

Did anyone attend woofstock this weekend that just passed? I was there on Saturday and saw a few huskies :p

I went on Sunday - it was pretty good this year - got a LOT of good deals!

The deals were great, it was my first time attending this event. Bought some cool treats and ran into a lot of cool dogs and unfortunately a few unsocialized ones and Thane's tail got ran over by some woman in a wheel chair :/

All in all I was impressed by the event.

Oh goodness - hope Thane's tail was okay... I went right at the tail end of it on Sunday - it was great because everybody was trying to get rid of a lot of their stuff so it was even cheaper! Only bad thing is that some people were already sold of out of their specials. All in all though, it was tons of fun. Can't wait for the winter one!

I tried joining that facebook group a bit back and I sent in another request, are they active still?

We are in Pickering and am willing to drive to Toronto as well. I cant seem to find many Husky groups out this way   we go to the dog park but it,s not the same as playing with a group of Huskies.

On October 12th/2013 at 10:00 am (Thanksgiving Weekend) Thane and I will be at Totoredaca leash free dog park meeting up with Matt and Kye. If others are interested in meeting up feel free to join us.

Jordan, what time are you thinking of meeting up at? It will give others a better sense of if they can come or if they have to go to lunch/dinner etc...
