| Hello everyone been a bit quiet from me lately, Ranger is doing good but I will update his thread as this is for Parker lol. We first heard about Parker through a friend of ours, his previous owners got him as a buddy for their 12yr old SH but soon after he arrived the 12yr old boy got sick and he was diagnosed with Cushings Disease which was brought on from the added stress of the puppy in the house. Having Parker around made it worse so they decided he needed to go. They tried looking for a new good home for him but to no avail as no one wanted to buy an older puppy. When our friend met Parker at the dog park she was told that they were looking for a new home for him and if they couldn't find one they he would have to go to the pound as their older SB was the priority. She texted me while she was at the dog park to tell me about him and that the owners were selling him. The owner and I spoke for a few days and we decided to take him as it was a better option than the pound and Parker would have a great life with us and Ranger and they agreed to give him to us at no charge except promise to give him a good home. So it has been 2 nights since he came to us with tonight been the 3rd. We let Ranger and Parker met on neutral ground and then went to the dog park for them the get better acquainted and play and tire themselves out before we all came home. Ranger was semi protective of us and the house the first night but since then they have been great together and play all day. We have a few concerns but will open new topics in the appropriate sections for those. So picture time Oh and Parker is 5 n half months old and we are pretty sure a Copper & White with blue eyes. |
