| I need some advice please - my husky is 6 1/2 years old and he has begun whining in his crate at night. He has everything he needs in there and he doesn't have to go to the bathroom and I don't know what to do. He's had his crate for about 4 years now so it's not new for him.
Any advice????? |

| Have you had him checked for any new medical issues? You could try taking what's in the crate out. Maybe something is irritating him, like a blanket or new cleaning product, or even a new sound in the room. |

| Have you moved recently or moved the location of his crate? |

| As funny as it might sound when we first got Loki we got him a teddy bear that played the sound of a heart beat for 20 minutes. My fiancée and I alternating sleeping out in the living room with him but he was also a puppy at the time. Now he sleeps in our bedroom on the floor next to the vent. |

| Thank you for all the help. He seems to go through spurts. I posted a new topic, but we are expecting a baby and he has started the nightly whining again. Not sure if the two are related... |

| He might be anxious over the impending birth of the baby. Dogs can be sensitive to that. (I'm assuming you mean a human baby - and congrats!) Has you shown him the baby's crib and where it will sleep and whatnot? |

| Yes I do mean a human baby haha. He knows where the baby will sleep and whatnot, but I'm wondering if that's why he's anxious. Thanks for the reply! |
