Registering Zoe with AKC. Do you guys recommend this service its $15, or do you think it's just a money maker and not worth it?

I put Bella in the CAR program. If she ever gets out and is picked up/found by someone they can call the number on the tag, give them the tag number and they contact me. She's also chipped and she is also listed on another program.

For the peace of mind 15 dollars for the lifetime of the dog to be listed is completely worth it in my opinion since it is another way for people to get your dog back to you much more quickly.

I didn't because both my dogs are already microchipped. I figured its the same thing twice. Both are AKC registered as well though.

We aren't doing it, but be aware of pet amber alert too.

There's another tag out there that's really nifty that I like better than the AKC program. It has a number to call and everything on it, but it can also be scanned by a smart phone and all your info comes up. Could be really handy, but I don't think Ava needs another tag on her ring of jinglies. We also signed up for the dogster program that's really similar, but its also free. And, of course, there's the Home Again microchips that have a tag too, plus if your pup goes missing they send out fliers to all the vets in the area.

I got it for Khuno when i registered him. I also have a microchip in him. If it were up to me i'd put life lock on him too haha.
