2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Aggression? Help! - Page 2 Empty

I'm going to hijack my own thread haha For the past month my focus with Bella was to simply let her get comfortable enough in the house that she would at least move out of the corner and not wet the floor or arch her back up and curl into a ball if you walked near her. She now will (sometimes) walk around the house, comes for treats, etc. What I had done for Chase to get him used to a leash was put one on his collar and let him just drag it around the house to get used to it. Is that acceptable to do with her or was I just lucky with him? I don't want her to freak out is my thing. Any ideas??

I will start walks with Chase and Dakota tomorrow! Hopefully no public humping attempts will take place Very Happy

So far today has gone better! This morning I was about able to take a picture of Bella and Dakota together. He has not been humping Chase (so far). Just going to take it one step at a time!

Sounds like things are getting better Smile

And I think her dragging a leash around would be just fine. When we go out for runs Valky gets freaked out over wearing the harness and leash (yet not when were actually running with it on?) so I let her run around the house with it for 10-15 minutes before we leave. She's gotten better.

IMHO are your sure they were fighting? If you could see my Lab and Balon playing it gets pretty rough. Sometimes I do break it up just because it looks bad to me, but honestly I know they are not fighting. Husky's can get pretty rough at play!

It was way different from how he and Chase play. He then started baring his teeth and growling at her. Like I said he's done better yesterday evening and today. I've noticed he is staring at her instead lol she holds her head up high though!

The past two days have gone really well!! The only dominate behavior (that I have noticed anyway) is placing his head over Chases back and blocking the others from me. I'll take that any day over what was happening. Still working on making sure everyone knows they are loved and have a place in our family!!
