2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Need help identifying breed- new puppy in kennel Empty
PostSubject: Need help identifying breed- new puppy in kennel   Need help identifying breed- new puppy in kennel EmptySun Jun 03, 2012 10:59 pm

Today my SIL saved a lil puppy and put it in her new kennel. Of course she couldn't keep the dog for even a day due to investment put into Weldon the Parvo dog so she came to mine. So far the girls are curious about her. None of them are being aggressive so I am okay with it. She is eating and drinking great!
Here are some pics of her, can anyone help on determining breed? Guessing 8-10 weeks.

Looks like it has some retriever in it to me. Maybe a retriever/herding dog mix. Idk though just thought I'd throw in my 2 cent since nobody else has responded.

Good for you for keeping her!

I was thinking something in the lab/retriever area also, As i have remarked- i never planned on having a puppy, way too many older dogs need help that get over looked compared to puppies. My SIL said she was going to take her to humane society and drop her off. I told her not to do that due to the crazyness of parvo going around here and other places. Take her to vet as soon as time allows to get checked, tests, and so on.

She is Lizzy and she knows it. I have some great pics from petsmart today that I need to get added that multiplies the amount of cuteness this girl has.

I went to the dog park yesterday and there just so happened to be two lab/beagle mix pups there and they looked very similar to this little fella, except the markings were way different (they were more tri-colored and mainly white). I wish I thought to snap a picture.
