Meredith, that blog is awesome and Shadow is so lucky to have you however her life turns out! I'm so sorry that people just can't keep their opinions to themselves and that you have to deal with that while your family is going through all of this. I'm sure your blog will help people who have animals with this issue and need support from someone like you! Shadow was made for your family and you guys are so lucky to have all those resources in your area to help her though this. Sending positive thoughts your way for sure, and I can't help but feel that Shadow will be just fine with you guys!

Meredith, your blog is incredibly well written, and I wholeheartedly agree that people should keep their cruel opinions to themselves! I admire that you have so much fight in you and I'm sure that will help pull your baby girl through, there is a lot to be said for not giving up!
