| I'm a bit of both, I love the calm relaxed natures of cats. but there is nothing like the love a dog gives you, it's 100% unconditional and they are just such characters, you cant help but love them. |

| it took me a lot of years to realize how much of a dog person I was..
When my kids were small we had a dog but when I look back I think she got over looked alot.
I had cats for years and years always one or two my Other dog Buster loved the cats.. She was a great dog.
When I got Blaze I realized how much love a dog can give you and now I have a second Huskies Kerian she is such a sweetie in need of love and gives love. |

| I have been a dog person all my life, but for the longest time I just thought I was an animal person in general. It took me a while to realize that I am mostly just a dog person. My first ever pet was a cat, and we had 7 cats and no dogs at one point. Cats are what started my love of animals, and for a while I considered myself a cat person (this is in like early middle school). But then we got our first dog and we ended up having 3 cats and 2 dogs at another point. I began to realize that dogs are just as great as cats, albeit in different ways. My parents allowed me to get my own dog (Legend) when I was 13 and from that point on I considered myself an animal person in general. I loved dogs and cats and all sorts of wild animals. I became obsessed with wolves in early high school. By the time we ended up with 5 dogs (late high school) I was partial to canines over felines, but it took me a long time to realize just how much I am a dog person. In the beginning of college I began exploring all sorts of other pets (snakes, lizards, rabbits, rats, more cats, etc.) and it took me until I got Faolan to realize that I may LIKE other animals, but I will never love another animal as much as I will a dog. Dogs become family. Cats do too, but dogs are like my children while cats are more like permanent roommates. I could rehome my cats before my dogs if I ever had to. I love dogs so much that my dream is to open my own boarding and grooming kennel. I kind of think it's genetic or conditioned or something, because my grandma and my aunt on my mom's side are also huge dog lovers. My aunt currently has 4, and my grandma has always had multiple dogs for as long as I can remember.
And honestly, I love the puppy stage. Sure it's a lot of work, but it's so worth it to me. Adults are great too, but I just LOVE raising puppies!

| I am not a cat person at all... Honestly, I think when they stare at me (which cats often do with their creepy eyes) I feel like they are trying to take part of my soul away. I mean kittens are cute and stuff but like my friends cat tries to steal my soul all the time, I wouldn't want to be left alone with her in a room. I feel like they will attack me at any given time.. However, I have this secret obsession with exotic cats, I love love love any exotic cat. Makes no sense I know. |

| i volunteered for a humane society from 13 to 22... i've always loved dogs and cats both. i always got along better with the more strong willed breeds [pits, GSD's, rotti's, etc...] whereas they would listen to me and respond better to me than any other staff member. when i was a kid and saw Balto [lame, i know lol] i was dead set on owning a husky but after my experience with the shelter, i was more drawn t a GSD or a Rotti. when i ran across my Colby at the shelter, my childhood desire returned and took over, and so now i have Colby and Jinx, my 2 sweet girls. but i still love the affection my from cat [who is a returned gift from my ex... i gave her a kitten for her d-day and she gave her back when we broke up 3 yrs later]. but she does have that awkward stare thing where shell sit on my stomach while i sleep and just kind of... stare at me. |

| Always been a dog person. My parents strongly dislike cats so that was never an option. Our first dog, we got when I was about 5 or 6. Since then, the longest I've gone without a dog in my life is 3 years which was when I was finishing college and my 2 childhood dogs died within months of each other. While it was devastating at the time, I realize they were nowhere near a part of the family that our Taylor was or that Demon and Dakota are now. I'm severely allergic to cats, so that will never be an option...I guess my parent's dislike was a blessing in disguise. |

| I am just an animal lover in general. I have had cats and dogs. I love both equally. I just can't own cats. I don't think Maggie get along with one. lol |

| I got lucky cuz my adoption didn't mind cats (I think she might be part mal, btw) and with the puppy I'll be able to condition her to like cats. Plus, my cat puts up with no bull. She stands up for herself no problem. |
