| I agree with jennet, she looks purebred to me and 38 is within the breed standard, Delilah weighs the same. At first, she weighed 34 but putting her on a high quality kibble got her weight to be stable. Congrats on the new family member |

| She looks purebred. Shelters are terrible at IDing breeds. I saw a purebred irish setter listed once as a red afghan hound! I couldn't believe it! And both of the siberians I've pulled from the shelter were listed as Alaskan Huskies or husky mix too and I'm pretty confident they were all siberian. _________________ -Sara |

| Omg how did I miss this! CONGRATS!!! She's beautiful!
Her build looks like a lot like Kody. Long and skinny! He weighed 45lbs at his last vet visit. He could gain a few lbs, but he's just fine. That boy eats, but doesn't fill in. I guess eventually he will |

| Wow, congrats to you both! I come back from vacation and see two dogs in your avatar and have been wondering what the back story was. She's beautiful and kudos to you for rescuing. She looks totally normal, my boy was long and lanky when we adopted him at 2 yrs old, he filled in beautifully by the age of 3. _________________ |

| Congrats, she's beautiful! Glad you finally convinced John, two are better than one IMO. Can we call her KK for short? That name is just a mouth full. Hopefully one of these days I can get my pack up to T-town for a play date, maybe in the fall sometime. |

We call her Keri or Kerian for short. I would love it to have to have a play date with your boys sometime. |

We call her Keri or Kerian for short.
I would love it to have to have a play date with your boys sometime. We'll have to schedule it then when the weather cools back down. |

| I am updating this with some information on how we came about to adopt Kerian.
We saw her on Petfinder she looked so sweet and small. I call the shelter Friday they had already closed for the day and did not open until 10 am Saturday morning. I tried calling at 10 am and still got a voice recording.. was going to call back in 10 minutes before I had a chance to call the shelter called me from the message I had left Friday. We told them we believe we wanted to come and get her it was 3 1/2 hours from our home and they close in about 4 hours. We grab some treats and water Blaze and left to Lee's Summit Mo. We got to the shelter at 1:58pm 2 minutes before they closed the guy I had talk to was planning on waiting until we got there. We introduce Blaze to her ( she did not have a name just a number). We finished up the paper work and took her about 2:20pm or so they micro chip her before we left. she had already been spayed.
On the way home we stopped at Wal mart to get a car charger for cell phone we had ran the phone down using them for GPS. I also purchased some treats and a couple of toys for her.
Her and Blaze got along on the way home.
Here some background on her.
She really had such a hard time in her previous life or so it is looking like.
She was at the shelter for over a month got adopted and came back because she wasn't getting along with the peoples other dog.
she was found at a wildlife reserve I would really like to know how she got there if some had dumped her or she found her way there after escapeing for previous owners.
She had been crate train and some manners training it appears but need alot of leash training.
