| I'm just here to chit chat a little about these great dogs and see what others have to say. My "owner" is a 2 1/2 year old female, Sadie. She is prety awsome and I spoil her big time. She eats all raw food consisting of mostly beef, but I hunt so she gets alot moose and deer meat aswell. I always keep the heart and liver to make treats. Her other favorite treats would be raw veggies (cauliflower, carrots, brocolli, peas, beans, and so on). 20% of her diet is veggies. I have her on a supplement as well called Total Health Plus. This diet seems to work very well for her. I usually share an apple with here in the evenings as well.
She's in fantastic shape as I run her very hard everyday for a minimum of 5 hours in the morning and then 2 or 3 more in the evening. I chose to get a husky because of the great energy they have and I love that even after 20 or 30 kilometers, she is still ready for more - alot more.
Her boyfriend is a 3 1/2 year old husky Leo, and his parents recently converted him to a raw diet. He is also in fantastic shape, but doesn't run everyday in the way that Sadie does.
Once i figure out how to post pictures up, I'll get a couple of the two posted. |

| Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you keep your girl in tip top shape!
I found using a site like photobucket works good to post photos. Just copy and paste the image code with [img] [/ img] on both sides of it. (w/o the space between the / and img) _________________ -Sara |

| Thanks for all the nice comments everybody As for the hunting question, she great when we hunt ducks and geese with a 22, but we are still easing her into a larger caliper. Currently the 16 guage is about as much as she can handle. Hoping next year she'll be able to deal with the big guns. |
