| Figured I would go a head and make a scrap book for Lucian. I take pictures of him every two weeks, so I'll update them when I do. He's due for his second vet visit this Thursday. Hopefully the Coccidia he had when I got him is gone. Can't wait to see how much weight he's gained in the past month. Everyone keeps telling me he's doubled in size since I got him, but of course I don't see it, lol. He's doing well with training. He picks up new commands rather quickly, but has yet to conquer the 3 stairs I have leading to the side door that we must go out to potty. He's still a bit nervous going down. He'll go up with no problems. Still working on it though. He knows, sit, stay, down, whisper, speak, kiss, come, right paw, left paw, pray, touch, and high five. First day home 8 weeks old 9/22/12 10 weeks old 10/6/12 12 weeks old 10/20/12 14 weeks old 11/3/12 Seems like he's losing some of that puppy fuzz, lol. 16 weeks old(and a few days, I wasn't home, lol.) 18 weeks old 20 Weeks old. 22 Weeks old. No more puppy teeth! 24 Weeks old 26 Weeks old (6 months) 28 Weeks old 30 weeks old (7 months) Again with the pictures mom, jeez. Would you please get the camera out of my face!

Awh the bigger pics remind me of Yuki. She was 19 pounds at her last vet visit which was at 12 and a half weeks of age for her, interested to see if he's similar weight!

Thanks! He is an adorable little bugger, lol. I'm curious to know what his weight is too. He only weighed 7.5lbs when he was 8 weeks old. I think it's because the breeder had him on crumby food, and he had Coccidia. She had to of known he had the runs, and she didn't even tell me about it. The more I think about it, the more it makes me mad. I suppose I could hop on the bathroom scale and get a round a bout weight on him, but I don't think I want to know what my weight is! Lol.

Had to post this milestone. I fell asleep on the couch in my living room last night, oops. I'm the one that usually puts Lucian to bed so to speak. I pick up his water for the night, and put up two baby gates. One to keep him in the kitchen, and the other to block of the shoes, and the stairs. I assumed hubby did all this last night, since I did wake up a few times in the middle of the night, and didn't hear a peep, or see Lucian walking about. Finally drug my butt off the couch, and here comes Lucian from the kitchen to greet me! Hubby didn't bother with the gates, or the water, and guess what? No potty accidents in the house, and both cats are still alive, lol. He took his nice long pee, and then went poop outside. I can't believe he didn't pee in the house all night, or destroy anything. Regardless I'm not going to start letting him have free roam of the house at night. lol.

Awh thats great. The one time I fell asleep on the couch I woke up in the middle of a warzone with two puppies licking my face as if to er, make me forget about the mess I saw around me.

Took Lucian to the vet today for his second round of vaccines. He's 17.3lbs! More than doubled his weight in the past month. He's got a clean bill of health. Still waiting on stool sample results to make sure the Coccidia is gone. Also have to wait and see if his right testicle drops down on it's own. Hopefully it will before he has to get neutered. I would hate for him to have to go through a more complicated surgery. I know for sure it will be difficult trying to keep him calm and relaxed for a few days, lol. He's a bundle of energy, and gets the "zoomies" a lot.

Well the vet called me earlier. Poor boy still has Coccidia. So I went and picked up another round of medication for him. Hopefully next month when he goes in for his third round of vaccines his stool sample comes back clean. They did tell me it could take a few rounds of medication to clear it up. He seems completely unaffected by it, but I just wish they were gone. I've been very vigilant about picking up his poop within five minutes of him going, so I know he isn't re-infesting himself. I guess these particular strain of intestinal parasites are tough.

Had Lucian's vet visit today. He's up to 24.8lbs! Gained 7 pounds in about a month, he's growing fast. His other testicle finally dropped, so he'll have a routine neuter probably in January. The Coccidia is also gone! But he has some kind of bacteria in his stool. They weren't sure what it is, so they are sending it out for further analysis. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about. Vet said he was healthy and looked great. So he's done with his puppy vaccines, and he got his rabies vaccine as well. Next week I'll head to city hall and get him licensed.

Lucian lost a bottom left incisor today. The incisor on the right is hanging by a thread, so I'm sure he'll lose that too. Bye bye sharp little puppy teeth! Lol.

That one in the pic has a ball in it's head. He has another one with nothing in it, and it's his absolute favorite toy! He runs around the house with it in his mouth all the time. Or sits there and just chews on the squeaker driving me nuts, lol. |

Lucian had his 2nd bath today. I've been putting it off for a while now, cause I thought it was going to be a total pain in the butt. He actually whined like a big baby the entire time. He did manage to get out of the tub once, covered in soap. Didn't like the blow dryer too much either. But after he figured out I was giving up, he laid down in my lap. He's mostly dry, still a little damp, so I'm going to keep in the house for a few hours cause it's cold outside! All in all, not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

This is Lucian's "I'm sorry Mom" face. I took him to petsmart, then brought him home to go out and do more Christmas shopping. I came home to find a rug chewed up. No big deal, I bought rugs that cost 50 cents just for this reason, lol.
