| I figured I would start a thread to keep me motivated. I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I have done every weight loss program known to man only to gain it back. When I got married I finally hit a low for my wedding (size 4) and kept it off for a little while. But then...Bam...preggo and it's all been down hill from there. I hit the 200# mark at the end of my pregnancy. Keep in mind I am only 5ft tall. God I hate to admit that. For the past 7 years I have been up and down going as high as 165, but the lowest I could get down to was 136. Even my doctor was stumped on why I could never break 136. So i would get frustrated and give up and then the weight would go back up again. Last summer I finished school and decided I had to do something big time. I was running out of excuses, lol. So I did a ton of research and decided to try the HCG diet. I won't get into it now, but OMG! I swear it did exactly what it said it would and I really believe it changed my metabolism too which is why I have been able to maintain for so long now. Since my last round months ago, I have started working out regularly. My weight loss has triggered a number of positive things, for one I have a ton more energy!
I am now down to 115 and in a size 2. I am still struggling though. When I look at pictures I don't see a size 2 girl. I find every flaw and still feel I could afford to lose another 10#. I am really trying to lose the fat girl mentality.
Before and after pics to follow. |

| Last summer 6/2011.....So embarassing Present. I hate bathroom mirror cellphone pics, lol, but I wanted to see how the suit looked. I will probably delete soon since I'm not a big fan of having bathing suit pics up anywhere. I may keep the first one up as a reminder though to keep me motivated and working hard. |

| Dee, that's amazing! I know one other person who tried the HCG diet, but she didn't do it right and it didn't really work for her. Seriously, to see what you've done is a real motivation to me and seriously I'M ashamed to admit I broke 200 (208 was my high) and I have 9 inches on you in height. You look great, and keep up the good work! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Thanks ladies!!! I needed to hear that. I stuck to the diet to a tee and swear I am hardly ever hungry now. I have my moments but always get right back on track. I have been holding this weight since the end of January. People say I look like I've lost more since, but I think it might be inches since I've been working out because my weight has stayed the same. On the diet I lost about 45lbs and 30+ inches.....did a total of 3 rounds. Now I am trying to tone up. I pretty much stick to high protien and little to no carbs, starches, or sugar now and my body is perfectly ok with that. And I also had hypoglycemia which is now gone.
I feel like my outsides are finally matching up to my insides. However, I have had a rough couple of weeks and tend to be an emotional eater...hence the need to stay motivated. I really need to stop letting assholes have such an affect on me. |

I'm right there with you on that one, and it's something I've struggled with for a long time. Crud, I emotional ate myself 5 lbs heavier in the last week... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I meet with a trainer 2x a month to keep changing exercises etc. I started in March and have had about 8 sessions. Did my measurments today and down 7.75 inches since I started weight is still the same, but the inches are down!!! Now if I actually followed through and worked out like I should in between training sessions that could be even better neck..- .25 chest..-1.0 shoulders..-.5 waist...-2.5 hips...-1.5 biceps...0 thighs.....- .5 each calf... -.5 each |

Yup. Melissa and I rant about that all the time. I can't have one bad weekend of eating or I can see and feel it. It sucks. But such is the price for being healthy I suppose ETA: Sorry, I forgot to add that you look AMAZING and congratulations _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Aww. Thanks everyone. It's a daily battle but I have been super active lately. Horseback riding has been my new favorite work out. And oh man is it a work out, lol. Sorry i've been mia for awhile. My computer is barely functioning these days...but it has surely surely gotten me out more.
I did the easy hcg...I think it's easyhcg.com. I researched the hell out of it before I bit the bullet.
Mel-it's so bad. I try to stay away from carbs, but more than make up for it in beer on the weekends lol. I just wish every ounce didn't show.
Slowly but surely the fat girl mentality is fading, but it will never go away. Hopefully it will just keep me humble and working my butt off. I hate working out, but feel so good after.
Must be fate because is been a rough week staying motivated.......so thanks again! You're timing is impeccable |

| Looking good, a great success. Was it only a specific diet or some muscle training too?
The problem that most people are having they try a diet for a few weeks and that´s it. They key is a high protein and low carb diet. Sports and especially muscle training is important too |
