Hi everyone, I've been reading for awhile now.. finally came around to signing up
This forum looks like a great Husky community and somewhere I can go to online for my Husky/dog needs as well as read a few news and jokes here and there
Anyway, I'll go straight to the introduction
My name is Melissa and I'm addicted to Huskies. (kidding..well not really kidding haha)
We've only have owned one Husky since I could remember. Unfortunately, she passed last year, but she lived the best 15 years of doggy life we could have given her. Since then we've gotten two dogs
This is Poppy and Tobi
Poppy is the Doberman/Shepherd mix. We've had her for about 1 year. At first I wasn't ecstatic about the working/guard dog type of breed, but my dad loves them. Of course with these kind of breeds we had to get her trained straight away, during that time I've fallen in love with her and said, "Hey, a husky is a dog, a doberman is a dog, I still love her" OF course, I feel really bad that I didn't like her in the beginning :/ (Sorry Poppy)
Anyway, I know this is a Husky community, but of course she's still family
Now for the King of the Castle, Tobi. We got him about when he was 8 weeks old. He's now about 5 months.
I wasn't really sure about the puppy stages for Huskies, since I've had my elder husky since I was a child and didn't really pay attention.. but this website surly helped a whole lot
Thank You, guys!
Although I didn't really need that much help, I guess I was already experienced with the other Husky...then again he is also really nonchalant and mellow.
Now for some pictures, what is a dog forum without pictures?
I don't know why but when he was a smaller pup, he liked to get into boxes and crevasses
You can really see his bi-eye here. Actually, he's bi-eyed and his blue eye is parti-eyed
Feelin' sexy
He had just came back from the vet, I thought it was cute lol
Anyway, I hope you all are having a good day and thanks for reading this semi-long post
See you around the forums
