| I'm still debating on switching my girls to raw food. I was checking out the Primal Pet Foods Raw Frozen Foods that are the complete diets but not sure if that is too expensive compared to just buying the meat myself. I don't have much freezer space so that is something to consider. Any suggestions? |

| Those premades are priced high. I used them with Rodeo when he was having his problems, and was spending $60 for 9-10 days worth of food. For one dog. Yikes. Usually home preparing raw is much much cheaper. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! | What would you suggest? Like I said, I don't have much freezer space and buying a freezer is totally out of the question. Should I go to the a butcher store and get it like that? There is a local place around here that do their own butchering and grinding and mixing of raw meats. I know that they would eat a lot of less of raw as opposed to kibble. Thanks... |

| Personally with 6 dogs here cheaper is better. I know some places sell their own raw but I'm unsure of price ranges. I do think it would be in the girls best interests to lose some weight and the raw will help fill them up because it has so much water content.
I get chicken quarters, pork shoulder, chicken and beef liver, and beef kidney for my dogs. I buy it from the small supermarkets around me (mostly Hispanic or Jamaican I think) and its obviously significantly cheaper than Publix. Or there's blue ridge beef who's prices are higher than those markets but they have a large variety of meats. Everything is ground and packaged. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |
