| I just read/heard the most absurd thing... That the scentsy fumes are toxic to dogs.
I would imagine that EATING the wax would be bad, but the fumes aren't toxic, right??? I know that Febreeze is bad for pet bedding etc, because it has chemicals in it, but it's not being put on anything.
Has anyone had a bad reaction with it, or heard this before???? |

| I have a wax burner and Kale leaves it alone. Yes it aerosolizes the wax into microscopic beads of oil, but if we can breath it in, they can. You can always burn it and lock the pups in another room. Psh I burn incense and smudge sticks and the Kale-ster has been fine its the wall plug ins that are way toxic, they burn my nostrils haha. The scentsy is the same thing as burning a candle, without the wick. |

| I've heard of cats having issues with any sort of aromatherapy-type thing that uses essential oils, but nothing about scentsy or dogs. I hope there's nothing wrong with it.... |

| That's what I thought Brooke. They have never had any issues, but I always have to double check when I hear things like this. I burn smudge sticks once a month because I believe in the good karma effects on the house.
I use to burn incense until I found out about scentsy, then I switched to this.
As long as others use them, I'm good. They really help with the doggie smells (like farts) that my dogs like to throw! |

He likes to stretch with his front legs on the floor and the back on the ottoman and he farts in my face, literally! haha Smudge sticks are awesome for getting rid of negative and unwanted energies |

Kya will curl up in the mornings, next to my face, and it never fails, she will burp in my face, then lick my face. I think Rio and her are in cahoots because they will lay on either side of me and fart until I can't take it anymore and get up. |

As do I, I just needed to make sure I wasn't poisoning my girls. I'm a paranoid mama sometimes! |

| Its mostly the wax that get disbursed into the air the causes the problem. I have serious allergy problems and my sinuses blow up like a balloon when ever Beth tries to burn any type of scented candles, oils or heaven forbid those damn plug in Glade things. People with asthma also will run into trouble with that stuff.
Myself the only thing I can tolerate is green tea incense it actually opens me up to breathe easier. |
