As for the puppies..... the vet tech there is going to take them home to foster them. After they see if they are healthy then they will be calling me again. I told them I felt horrible and they said no it was fine and were very nice. At least we'll know soon if the other puppies have it.

She is very timid and shy so she will be needing some work when we get her. I know the rescue said that she is good with her children (two and newborn) and with her dogs but when she goes outside to potty you have to leave the door open and walk away for her to feel comfortable to walk in the house. She isn't leash trained at all. She's a real sweetheart that needs a lot of love and attention. The rescue feels she will make much more progress being with a family than she is making at the rescue. I talked to the woman on the phone tonight for a good 30 minutes. And like I said, we've been in touch for 4-5 months now about her. I'm actually really excited.

Aww...well with her being a breeder and a rescue it might take a little time but I'm sure she will warm up quick. Snow was great on a leash but freaked around a crate at first. She was found locked in one with a choke chain embedded in her neck...so it was so hard to get her to understand that a crate is good. She had some problems but with work she is now perfect. I don't think she was fed enough, because she is ALL about food of any sort. She followed me around the house tonight for an hour because I had a treat in my pocket lol She was also good with kids from the start. I have a two year old and she just adores him. I can't wait to see how she turns out when you get her. You will definitely have to post a bunch of pictures. As for the pups...when they are ready to be adopted, ship one to me hehe

She actually was never bred because they didn't want her timidness to pass down or affect her mothering abilities. So she got off easy that way.

That's good then!! Thank goodness!! Snow was still full of milk when we got her (you can kind of tell in my avatar pic). We are FINALLY getting her hair on her tummy to come in good now.

We adopted Chase from the humane society here when he was 3 months old. His mom came in pregnant and had her puppies there. We've had him for a year and a half and I couldn't imagine life without him! Dog hair, holes, and all
