I got Embry at 11 weeks and Zoey at 16 weeks. Personally I would rather not get a puppy at 8 weeks...

As cute as she was, I wish I had asked the breeder to keep kiba a bit longer as well. We got her at about 7 weeks and 5 days and I think it may have been better for her to be with her dame and litter mates longer. Denali was 12 weeks when we brought him home, the girls were 8 weeks mainly because the breeder was a 13hr drive and it was on my off weekend, but I wouldn't have done it any other way It was a good experience, which puppy purchases should be. A 'kennel' like this creates puppy buying nightmares and a bad name for breeders out there trying to do things the right way.

My husband and I are actually in a legal battle with her because she wouldn't give us our money back after we returned the pup. We're also in the process of trying to get her shut down and all the poor dogs and puppies rescued.
