| So I go out in the yard today and see Meeka has pulled the rug off the porch which she has done before but she usually just lays on it in the grass I guess to keep off the wet grass in the morning lol. But today she was laying about 2 or 3 feet away from it so I went and picked it up and she got up with her head down and walked away I look under the rug and there a nice new crater under it. I think its funny cause she knows she has designated spots to dig in the yard so she knew she was gonna be in trouble but how can you ever be mad at them when thier smart enough to try and hide it lol. |

| Too funny!
My mom's female GSD used to get dry kibble before she would be served wet canned food. One day my mom was gardening and found a bunch of ants concentrated in a section of the garden going underground. She dug up the area full of ants to discover a massive collection of unbeaten kibble. Her GSD had been burying the kibble so that she would only have to eat the canned food. Lol _________________ |

| Hey Val how does your husky and smaller dogs get along ? I also have a 9 year old Chihuahua named bella at my house that any time meeka is around her she wants to rip her head off . I know its cause Meeka Tries to play with her and meeka probably looks like a monster to her but I get worried about it when bella shows anger meeka might eventually get aggressive right now she just shoves her wich pisses bella off more. I do want to note they are never with each other unsupervised |

| John, we have some similar issues between Ghost and our Cocker, Lulu. Lulu is extremely excitable and high strung, and when she gets excited it sets Ghost off. Ghost just wants to play, but Lulu gets super aggressive and charges, snapping and snarling. I'm still trying to find a way to keep Lulu from doing that, but in almost a year we haven't had any issues with Ghost getting aggressive back. She just pushes her butt up against Lulu and uses her weight to move Lulu around. I'm starting to heavily explore dog behavior issues like that, I'll pass along if I find anything useful. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | My sibe and chi girls get along just fine. Of course there was an adjustment period for each of them. My sibe rules the roost around here, but if he gets to be too much and the chi girls aren't having it they will make their displeasure known. Yes they have all displayed aggression toward one another at times but it's something that I nip in the bud very early on as unacceptable behavior and they've all learned very quickly what is and isn't allowed. True aggression is something I will not tolerate, however them correcting each other or "defending" themselves and their right to not be bothered I have no problem with. _________________ |
