I'm considering a Dyson dc41 animal. I vacuum the floors every day.
When I get on hte floors to play with my boys or to rough house with Freya I notice all the hair thats still stuck in the carpet. It really makes me feel like I havnt cleaned at all.

From all these great reviews I'm more inclined to start really looking.

I havnt been able to find one online for under $700 (brand new) in Australia, I dont really want to buy from overseas as it takes too long for it to get here and I'm always paranoid it'll get broken or lost.

I found one in The Good Guys online store for $728 with the option of 1,2 or 3 year extended warranty. There is an option to select a store and pick it up from there. I have a store about 1.5km from where I live.

I got mine for US $350 in the US using craigslist. I don't know if they have something similar in Australia but you should check the online classifieds. $700 seems really steep!! It would be cheaper to get it on Amazon and have it shipped there no?

We've got e-bay, Gumtree and get deals direct and a few other sites like that. But absolutelly nothing under $700 - unless I want second hand which I dont.

It's all good and well getting it from America or whereever for a cheaper price but to get it shipped out here to Australia the freight/shipping alone is a lot of the time the same price or more than the item I'm purchasing.

CheaperOz $728
Gumtree $700 - but not in my area.
Deals Direct $759
E-bay $800

The cheapest one around and within my area is The Good Guys. I found it on getprice.com.au it's a site that compares all the prices of a specific product from all stores, online and walk in, and comes up with the cheapest ones.

EDIT:
I just checked Amazon ($539) and they wont ship it out to me.
