| it turned out a lot better than i though, when we first got htere however we were immediately greeted by 4 other huskys! i got really excited but one of them ended up being just incredibly aggressive and the other 3 just followed him and cornered rocky against the gate. i'm not sure exactly why as it was just the ONE that didn't seem to like him, he kept mounting him and growling in his ear & barking in his face, could it have to do with rocky being so young? he's 9 months on the 26th and i think this other husky was 3 years old...the owners of the aggressive dog ended up leaving but then the other husky owners followed along with so i felt kinda bad but rocky made friends with other dogs that were there! he played around with an english bull mastiff puppy a lot lol here's a picture: rocky is definitely not a pack leader though, he's really calm and passive, total opposite of dominant. i would really appreciate it if you guys can give your input on the aggressive husky that was there and his "pack" cause i'm sure rocky will have to meet with them again and i want to prevent anything dangerous happening in the future. |

| Embry was always bullied by this pair of Red Siberians when he was a puppy. They would corner him and pin him and wouldn't let him move until I went to get him. I think it's a lot to do with Huskies being pretty dominant dogs. Embry now does it to other husky puppies lol |

| i figured it had to do with him being a puppy but i've never been to a dog park before so i'm still learning the difference between dogs playing and fight starting. did they eventually get along as he got older or did they continue to bully him? |

| Poor Rocky! He sure has gotten big! It'll get better the more often you go. It was rough the first times we went to the park too, but each time he got more and more confident and now he's the ruler of our dog park hehe. |

| Jack was picking on the puppies at the meet up yesterday, but they were much younger, like 3-5 months, he would go for the neck, pinch and back up to see if the pup would get up and then do it again, it was kind of funny cause all he wanted to do was play, there was another one doing the same thing, i stepped in a few times when it went on to long and i wanted to give the little guy a break and jack went to play with the others. the others were just being a pack and following what the aggressor was doing. i would say to see what happens again if you meet them and step in if you need to break it up. or ask the owner of the one doing the picking to get his husky so Rocky can have a break _________________ |

| Blaze does a jump and bump thing when he is playing at the dog park. We went yesterday only get to go once a week lately there was a couple of huskies there one comes all the time he is a year old than Blaze the other one is young sticks very close to her daddy.. I guess big dogs scare by big dog once.
The Huskies left shortly after we got there he played with very well with a Pit mix and lab Mix very well.

i know he's gotten big really fast , hayden has grown a lot too! still very precious though yeah i'm hoping rocky will gain some confidence, even though he was the 'wimpy' husky he was very respectful of all the other dogs and i was very proud of him - jbealer wrote:

the owners were very cautious of their dogs, well the aggressive one (they have 2 huskys) and they were petting rocky and everything i think trying to show their dogs that he wasn't a threat, so they were really nice but they ended up leaving and i felt bad like rocky ruined their day at the dog park :/ another lady said when they bring both sibes the one is very aggressive but when they bring them seperately they're just fine so i'm hoping to run into them again when they're seperated so atleast one of them can be friends with rocky lol |
