Received a call from the Vet he does not like what he sees in the xray. Says there are bone chips and spurs and its causing Bob to have pain that is why he is still hopping. Wants to do it right away but he is only assisting he is bringing in an Orthopedic Specialist in to do the operation. They are going to pay for 2/3 of the bill leaving me with a $600 bill. Also they will be keeping him overnight unlike last time when he came home right after the operation. I can pick him up Thursday afternoon. I so do not want him to go thru this operation again. He is just getting back to being himself. But yes he walks about two blocks and sits on the way back he is panting so much. When we get into the door he flops down and pants for about 20 minutes. I guess I have to go thru with it.

Aww! Poor baby! Atleast they are helping with they costs?

We wil be praying for Bob to have a speedy recover and sucess with the sugery.

Poor Bob, I hope he has a speedy recovery! That's great that they're helping out with the money, and you are absolutely doing the right thing. Bone spurs and bone chips are quite painful.

Agree with Meredith, spurs and chips hurt like hell and they won't go away on their own.
