| So went to the Doctor again yesterday to get Luna her Lyme shot. Doctor said she's perfectly healthy besides her stool. They found a parasite known to be in bird, rabbit or squirrel poop. So Luna's eating poop! gross! He said that it isn't harmful for her and we would just need to let it pass.
She also weighed in at 37.8lbs and is 1 year 1 month of age which I think is pretty small. When we go to the dog park she's always the smallest Husky haha.
My question's are.
Do you think she's done growing?
What age was your husky considered "full grown"?
What can I do about the poop situation? Anyone have any methods about keeping these types of animals out of our yards? |

| She may fill out a little more over the next 6-12 months, but 38 pounds is within the standard size range for female Huskies (35-55 lbs.) My Teila never got heavier than 37 pounds until she was elderly and unable to exercise. Even then she was still only 39 pounds at the end.
Squirrels and rabbits are sometimes repelled by ultrasonic rodent devices, or by repellent sprays. Birds? Nothing short of an aviary net will keep them out for sure, but you could try a fake owl. Some types of birds will not fly near or nest near a predator like that. |

| Huskies hit another growth spurt at 15-18 months where they might shoot up as much as another inch in height. After that, they fill out their weight until the age of 3. She will likely get bigger, but she is still well within the range of standard _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I second the owl, my boyfriend's dad own almond orchards and they use owls as a deterrent for squirrels and birds and it works |

She's not that small...my girl is 3 years old and weighs in at around 40lbs. Like others said, she may hit one more spurt and fill out some, but it's sounds like your girl will probably be around the 40lb mark too. |

| Willow had a growth spurt not long after her 1 year mark. She is on the bigger side though. She weighs 50lbs at 1 year and 9 months. |
