| note: all the pics where he appears more red, it's because of my cell phone's light adjust from a room with light to one without.. just so you know! this is a light red husky from korea: this is a sable husky from indiana: which one does he more closely resemble? |

| Welcome! I'd say light red as well, but either way he's gorgeous _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Oh Goodie and other Blaze on here..
I would say light red/white.
He is a real beauty..
My Blaze is chocolate/copper and white so that is what I was told.
My Blaze got alot darker since I have had him (he was 9 months when I got him and now is 18months.).

| Beautiful boy! I would go along with light red as well, but I can see sable too ahhh so many choices! His coat will probably change come fall when he blows his coat, so maybe you'll be able to see better then. |

| Welcome!
Oklahoma Blaze is copper (and my Sabaka is copper). From the pictures, I would guess that your Blaze is light red. I LOVE the light reds!! So pretty!! |

| I would say sable...but his color probably will change. Mine are black and white, but as they get older they start getting red blended in with the black (their mom was red and white). I don't know, I just don't see the red in the pictures you posted, but everyone seems to be saying red. Welcome! He is beautiful! |

| Sable's are called the 'black-nosed reds". If your dogs nose is black he's considered to be a sable, if it's a liver color then he's considered a red. Hope this helps!
He's beautiful by the way! |

He's beautiful by the way! If you look at the very first pic and the up close facial shot, his nose is primarily black, but it has a liver color to it at the base (as is evident in the first pic). That's another reason why I am confused. |

| Sable is determined by undercoat color red, orange or chocolate with black points will be a sable.
Copper/chocolate will be a very deep red and light red is a light red/Orange copper and will only have liver points. _________________ |

| Thanks to you and Deb, Ceara, we have now solved the color problem! He is, indeed, a Light Red! On another note, not only is he finally coming home, but I found a crate for him on cl that is wire, foldable, xxl, and was only used twice. The guy is selling it to me for $40! Petsmart sells one of that size for $130 before taxes. I'm lucky today! |
