| So, Ava's birthday is April 4 (she's three now! holy crap!!) and Snickers was an Easter present from my parents 10 years ago. Easter's pretty special here Every year, we make cakes for them. They love them, but Ava actually takes the time to taste hers, so we get pictures. Snickers usually will swallow it whole, unless we break it into two pieces. Definitely not a pretty process. Anywhos! Here's Ava and her third birthday cupcake. They're just dog-friendly meatloaf, iced with cream cheese and slim jim candles. Usually we do bacon sprinkles too, but I didn't get to this year. She's so good. She didn't even try to taste it until I told her she could. Just a taste! What a face |

| That birthday cake is awesome! I'm taking notes here, Ghost's birthday is in 10 days _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. There's a few recipes for grain free pupcakes out there...I'm making one for Storm's birthday that uses THK in the recipe. |

| I love her so much c: And she, of course, loves her pupcakes.
Its pretty easy to make too. When she turned 1, we used cream cheese/peanut butter as the frosting. Then last year, we used cream cheese/spray cheese as the frosting. This year I just used cream cheese and I think it worked the best. A little bit of spray cheese or Kong Stuff'n to decorate the top and make the "flame" on the Slim Jim candles and you're set. |
