| In addition to my little Gulf Coast project, I will be back in IL with the dogs over New Years. I've already spoken to Mindy and she and I are planning a meet up (also with one of my friends from back home who I am trying to get to join the forum) on New Years Eve. Yes, it's a holiday, but it's pretty much the only day Mindy and I could meet. The meet up is going to be at the Urbana Park District dog park in Urbana, IL. The time is still up in the air but I'm shooting for noon-ish. Give me a shout if any of you are interested. Yes, I'm suddenly in a very organizational mood _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Boo, yeah I looked it up and you guys are something like 6 hours from my parents house which would put it at 8 hours to Urbana. One of these years I'll have to head north and we can find a place to meet in the middle _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | That would be fun, but it would be about a 4.5 hour ride at least for me. I will think about it though. |

One of these years yes, but I'm already taking a bunch of leave this year so I need to watch that. I really want to though! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Ok, so here's the plan. Meet at the Urbana dog park at noon, and play til the dogs are worn out. Christine, if you still think you can make it, would you be able to make it that early? I can adjust some, but Mindy has to be back in Farmer City by 4:00. Let me know and we can accomodate. Any other folks in the IL/WI/IN area, you are welcome to join in if you so desire. It is a $5 guest pass for the park, and I believe that's per dog. Hope to see a couple of you out there _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Had an awesome meet up today! Next time Meredith and Aaron comes to Chicago, we will have a meet up near there and maybe Christine and Melissa can meet us there. |

| Ok, here are a few of the many pictures I took yesterday. Sorry it took so long, I fell asleep while they were uploading last night, er, this morning... Anyway, the girls all got along famously, even Lulu (mostly) That park was really nice too, very big and lots of seating for the humans. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Ok, made the post and accidentally bumped the send button without the pictures. As I was trying to edit, the stupid power went out. I can't win... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. I'm a sucker for what I call the coyote dance pics, but geez the facial expressions on so many of the pictures were just awesome. Nice action shots. |
