Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Hi .....from New Jersey. Love Huskies & love looking at pictures of all of your beautiful Huskies. Chubby came into my life unexpectedly, and now I can't imagine life without him. He is everything anybody could ever want in a dog. I've had dogs my whole life. I started out with a Boxer named Windy, who I grew up with from birth. He was with me until I was 16, he was a sweetheart. Then throughout the years, I had a Cocker Spaniel named Ginger, 3 Yorkshire Terriers named Rocky, Bucky & Snuffy, a Collie named Candy, a Bichon Frise named Princess & a Pit Bull named Oreo. They were all great dogs. I adopted my Siberian Husky 2 years after my last dog died. I wasn't going to get another dog, because I was older & my children were grown, but after 2 years I really missed having a dog around. I searched Petfinder.com to adopt a dog who needed a home, I saw a Jack Russel Terrier who sparked my interest & made an appointment with the Shelter. When I got there, I saw Chubby (that was his Shelter name) & when he saw me, he came right over and jumped up on me & gave me a big kiss! That was it.....I was in love. He was so sweet & soft....and those big, beautiful blue eyes! So the story goes, Chubby came home with me & I kept in touch with the Shelter for awhile & the Jack Russell found a home a few days later. Me & Chubby have been inseparable since September 2, 2008. |

| Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Your pictures of your Huskies are beautiful. They are unique dogs. Chubby is now about 4 years old, the Vet said he was about six months old when I adopted him. |
