Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Do you have FB? Contact Michelle Bigelow https://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=1567626646&sk=info She seems to be a reputable breeder and from Painted Dreams FB looks like she showed one of their dogs for them. Give her an e-mail or message on FB and I"m sure she'd be very willing to help you. agapae_silver@hotmail.com http://www.minkmultimedia.com/aoi/index2.htm

maybe too late to post but at Balon's 3 month visit only one testicle had descended, the other is right there, but has not dropped. She didn't seem worried!

If she doesn't respond I would file a complaint on the Better Business Bureau. So many irreputable breeders do this... act like they care and are responsive and wonderful until you hand over that check and pick up your dog. Then it's like they have better things to deal with. Ugh.

he is amazingly beautiful and perfect in every way! i hope it all works out for you!!! ALSO! i'd advise getting pet insurance on him NOW!!!! because for like 25 bucks a month any medical procedure the pet needs is covered up to 3,000$ for the lowest coverage and of course, they have more premium options as well. i have both of my girls insured under 24 Hour Pet Watch Pet Insurance because huskies have that bad habit of taking off at any opportunity. I'd jump on that now though before it is officially diagnosed! that way, if the time comes and he needs the surgery, you'll be covered.

just a thought, but its totally worth it.

First welcome and he is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Second: re Health Insurance, if the vet has already put in his file about those problems they will not be covered under any Pet Insurance, you must disclose any problem you have already found out about. I know because my lab had cystitis before she was covered and now they will not cover any thing relating to a UTI for at least 6 months past the date of the first one. For major things it will never be covered. It won't matter if you go to another vet, I guess if the 2nd vet doesn't agree with the first you could argue that fact, but believe me they will exclude those problems.
