| Congrats on catching him, he looks great and reasonably healthy for loose without tags. Hope you find the owners (if worthy ones at that) or a great home for him. Either way he needs a great home. |

| Make sure you swing by a vet's office and have him scanned for a chip. Also, scout out CL postings for a fairly wide area around where you live, and see if someone maybe in another part of OK reported a lost dog matching his description. Also, while you're on CL, you might want to make a post. I'd advise you against putting pictures up there and just say "found Husky, call and describe him if you think he's yours" or something like that. It will cut down on the nutjobs calling to try and get a free Husky.
Good luck! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | He looks gorgeous. Looks like my Thor, he still pretty clean so he may not have been loose long. He doesn't look too skinny. For some reason some white huskies tend to look skinny their hair is shorter. I used to think Thor was under weight but he is where he should be. |

So my wife called me today saying there was a dog in our back yard and sent me a picture. Wow, its a husky!! I got home as fast as i could and picked him up wandering down the street. Im going to post flyers tomorrow. Its a male, a year or older. Hes friendly and calm so far. No collar so no tags.

| Definitely swing by a shelter or a vet to see if he is chipped.
There are a few rescues in Oklahoma that might be able to help too. I wish we had the ability to tag posts.. Brian, where are you?? _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Such a handsome lad! He looks pretty well kept to have been loose too long! I'd say he hasn't even roughed a night on his own yet! |

| he has no chip, working on flyers now. I planned on just saying lost husky found but with no picture. and they must have proof its theres. so whoever the owner is they should have a pic of there boy for proof. My first thoughts were he might have crossed several countys but im also going to scout the neighbor hoods too. When i grabbed him he was just moving so fast down the street sniffing the ground. He only hung aroung my house because my daughter was outside to pet him. lol.. She was like look daddy i have a new dog! |

| I scanned the OKC and Tulsa CL posts and nothing jumped out right away, but that's not to say that I might have passed over one. I also shot Brian a note on FB to catch his attention. Hopefully you will be able to help this guy! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Before I got Kota I found a lost husky and housed him for 4 days. I checked CL everyday but no one posted anything, so I posted a description of where I found him and his color/size, then asked them to send a picture to confirm. A few hours later, I found his owners I highly doubt any husky owner would NOT have a picture of their baby haha. Hope you find his owners! |

| I'd call the nearby vets with a description and your number. Also call animal control (that's how I found the owner of the stupid little black dog that runs around our neighborhood). Maybe put up some fliers in pet supply stores if they allow it. _________________ -Sara |

| If you can't find the owners and need help with placement or getting him into rescue, let me know. I'm in OKC but have rescue contacts. |
