Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I know Huskies aren't big eaters but Luna sometimes only goes through 1 cup of day. She will either skip breakfast or skip dinner. Is there anything I can do to get her to finish her food in both sittings? If she doesn't finish her food within 30-40 min of me giving it to her i take it away. |

| Nothing unusual about that with a Husky. Adobo is doing the same thing all over again with the temps rising Luna's appetite will probably go down. Frustrating at times because it makes you feel like your not taking good care of her but she's just self regulating. |

| yeah Jack gave up breakfast 2 days last week cause of the heat, i would not worry, have you tried to maybe feed some more at night if she is skipping the first meal? or is she leaving food on the 2nd feeding as well? if so then i would let it run the course, its most of the case due to summer starting. _________________ |

| Kya is down to one thigh a day from two right now. She is a big meal skipper and she gets a lot of excercise. I wouldnt worry unless she starts loosing weight or being lathargic |

| We're playing the same game here. Lulu always acts like she's been starved for weeks at feeding times (I promise, we feed her gluttonous ass twice a day), but Ghost has started turning her nose up at a meal every few days. It's getting hot here though, consistently into the 80's now. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I think my two are just used to the heat. They acted like they're being starved at both meals. They scarf it down and lick the plate for at least 2 minutes |
