| Hayden was just playing with one of his plush toys and of course ripped the squeaker out. I went over to get it out of his mouth, but he saw me coming and of course swallowed it. I called our vet, they said to watch and see if it passes within the next 2-3 days. Do you guys think I should try to make him vomit it up?? |

| uh oh! I've had quite a few sock and toy swallowing scares as well. Things to look for are stopping water consumption, not eating, lethargy, and vomiting. I hope Hayden throws in up! He should within 4-8 hours, possibly 12. |

| We took have had a few sock scares! A few other things as well. A squeaker is small. He should throw it up or poop it out. Kody ate TWO socks at that age!!! We almost had to rush him to the pet ER. He was so lethargic. Seemed like he was going to faint! Finally, he puked up one and started acting much better. He puked the 2nd one up later that night.
SO SCARYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! |

| So Hayden ate dinner last night and breakfast this morning completely normal. Today however he is acting a little strange, he's a bit more clingy (Hayden is NEVER clingy!) and he's thrown up going on 6 times now. First time he threw up a piece of cloth and since then its been clear and foamy and not squeaker He's still eating normal and wanting food though. I haven't noticed him drinking today, which isn't unusual, because he doesn't drink a lot of water. Should I take him into the vet? |

He hasn't passed it and he's thrown up 6+ times?? Please call your vet immediately. When you have a potential blockage (ie- an eaten object) and your dog starts throwing up, ALWAYS call your vet. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I just walked outside and inspected his poop spot and no squeaker, although I did find what looks like a plastic lolly pop stick that's about 4" long! I bet that was painful to crap out lol |

That's what I was afraid of Good luck! I'm not gonna lie-- x-rays aren't cheap, but throwing up that many times when he's eaten something that can cause him harm in his intestines is not something I would mess around with. Keep us posted. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I'm at the vet now, they took x-rays and said his tummy is empty but has a lot of gas build up and she said something could possibly be blocking it and could be stuck in his intestins. I'm suppose to feed him a bland diet for the next few days. They are giving him fluids because he's getting dehydrated and an anti-vomit shot and if he throws up anymore tonight I have to bring him back first thing in the morning for more x-rays to see if anything has moved and he could possibly need an operation. keeping my fingers crossed he holds everything down tonight. |

| The good news is there was no squeaker on x-ray! I'll try and post pictures of the x-rays on here once I figure out how to do it. |

| The top right is showing his stomach is empty and the left larger bubble below his rib cage is a large amount of gas the doctor fears is being blocked and above that is where she believes the blockage might be. Update: So far he's doing really good! No vomiting and he's drank a little bit of water. I'm going to try the bland diet in a few minutes and hope he hold's it down! |

| He won't eat the bland diet (boiled chicken breast and white rice). Guess I'll leave it out and hope he'll eventually eat. Update: I just tried giving him a little taste of his raw patties to see if that was what he wanted and he won't even eat that. |
