Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Hi everyone!
I got a quote from a really great company to design a banner/logo that could be used for the forum. It would also be of good enough quality to put on merchandise, etc. if we ever wanted to do t-shirts, mugs, etc.
It would be between $150-$175.
Would people be willing to donate so I can really get this site looking professional? I'm doing a lot of work on it right now. We do have some competition, but I'm planning on revamping a lot of things on this site.
Please let me know. I have a paypal account that we could send payments to and I could pay from there. This is something that would really benefit the forum a lot.
Reply here or to a PM to me with thoughts/suggestions/comments! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| ¿Are you talking about like the thing at the top of the page? Forgive me for not understanding how forums work. |

| Yeah- the banner at the top of the page. You wouldn't believe how much that would help people take us seriously. I've done some research on it. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| im with harrise, not sure what is wrong with the one we have, would it move around and do cool things or just sit on top of the page like the one we have? |

| It would just be something to look more professional. I think the one we have now is alright- it just looks like I threw it together ...cause I did. I've seen forums that skyrocket in membership and activity as soon as they take on a more professional look. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Ahhhh, I get it. Like a letterhead.
Sorry, but it seems a bit spendy. I'm quite literally counting pennies for the big $$ vet visit every April. Is it something that photoshop can do? Or, can you show some examples of what is considered a more professional looking banner? |

| The Husky Forum used the same designer. I love the look. It's clean and crisp-- and looks real professional. Obviously they would design something more fitting for our forum. It wouldn't be a carbon copy at all.

| Well- buttons aren't necessary. If you want to take a crack at the banner, have a go! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
