Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | I am new here, and thought I would post up some pictures of my Kya! She is a life saver, literally. I was devestated after my pomeranian was killed. A friend who's family member breeds huskies found out, and had kya and 3 others. I saw Kya and was smitten. I adopted Kya on December 17,2010. This was New Years Eve 2011. This is her a few weeks ago, passed out asleep. She is a goober! |

| She's really pretty Welcome to the forum! I almost moved to Corpus last summer, but the Navy decided to send me to Pensacola instead. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | TY! I have been to Pensacola and Jacksonville. My brother in law was in the navy and I traveled with them at times. That's how I ended up in CC! |

| I was wondering if you had some affiliation with the Navy I'm actually at Whiting Field which is northeast of Pensacola, and I'm here til summer of '14. Then maybe I can move back north and Ghost can have snow to play in _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Yeah. I know what you mean.
They were in WA as well, but I never traveled up there. I moved here to help with her kiddos and stuff and then started college here and never left LOL! |

| I'm from South Texas (RGV) recently relocated to Ithaca and I was always worried that the hot Texas weather wasn't good for a husky. Have you experienced any heat issues with your pup? |

I'm from Arizona and my dogs will go and lay out, bellies up, when it's 110 degrees out. They acclimate just fine, obviously you just can't keep them outside all day. |

I'm in the Snowy Northeast right now and I was worried that once we moved back to Texas, it would be an issue. It's good to knw they adapt just as much as we do! |
