| Appas breath has gotten pretty doggy; he hates when we spray him with petz oral spray. I think we might have to try something else. Any recommendation for toothbrushes? Paste? Breath fresheners? |

| Strange as it may sound but if you have a old electric toothbrush use that instead of a manual brush. Not sure why but both Adobo & Biko prefer the electric by far.
I did pick up a bottle of Dental Fresh, Advanced Plaque & Tartar by Synergy Labs last weekend for adding to the water dish. About $7 for a 17 oz. bottle. Hoping this stuff works.
Adobo has always had breath that kills no idea why just been her all her life. She's healthy, decent teeth, teeth get brushed etc. Thinking about getting chlorophyll tablets next. |

| Okay been using this stuff for 10 days and there seems to be an improvement. Before when ever Adobo would breathe in my face I wanted to faint now it almost smells clean.

Suppose to be safe for daily use, so far so good no diarrhea, puking or what not. Kind of make the water smells chlorine-ist but thats the main active ingredient. Sort like the kitchen faucet in the summer time when the water authority spikes the chlorine up a bit to fight odor in the system. |

| I use the Petzlife Oral Care spray on my pack and none of them like it. But I honestly don't care because it works and they just have to get over it. I'm a tough love kinda gal though... When I brush their teeth I use a typical double ended doggy toothbrush. Again, none of them enjoy having their teeth brushed and again they just have to suck it up and get over it. Weekly RMBs can help with the teeth also if that's something you'd consider. I've heard of lots of people trying different water additives but never really any success stories so I won't waste my money on them. _________________ |

Adobo has always had breath that kills no idea why just been her all her life. She's healthy, decent teeth, teeth get brushed etc. Thinking about getting chlorophyll tablets next. I didn't know they have this "Advanced" formula now, but I just bought a new gallon of the "regular" formula so I will stick with that for now As far as the regular goes I LOVE this stuff (I'm on my second gallon (the first lasted about 5-6 months, and I had a 17oz before that), Diesel was getting some pretty good looking brown spots for his age on his teeth. I put just enough in to make the water turn a light green into a gallon jug of water. The vet actually commented on how nice his teeth looked when I took him in last week. I still brush his teeth with C.E.T. poultry flavored toothpaste and a 3 sided toothbrush, but only on his top biggest back tooth on both sides. It seems to get missed by that stuff.... but its the only teeth that have plaque so I'd say it works. I've never had tummy issues with it and I even use it on the pup and cat. I thought this was a good shot of his teeth... his bottom back ones have a very light tinge of brown on them.... but that is it. Also forgot to mention that I used it on a rescue that had horrible teeth... in a month her teeth had improved greatly and she didn't have doggy breath anymore. I never once touched her with a toothbrush. |
