Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | Hi all, New to the forum, and a new first time Husky owner from sunny Rhode Island! Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. We'll be getting our new pup in about a week and can't wait! He's a light grey and white male who we're still deciding a name for. This is our first Husky, however our family has had several in the past, so we've had a chance to do a lot of good research before hand. I'm sure that I'm going to have a lot of questions as we go and I look forward to helping out where I can, and learning as much as I can from everyone. Thanks to all, and I'll post pics and his name as soon as I can. |

| You're off to a great start! Where in Rhode Island are you? I served in Americorps from 2005-2006 in Providence and lived in Fox Point while I was there _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

Where in Rhode Island are you? I served in Americorps from 2005-2006 in Providence and lived in Fox Point while I was there Thanks Tori, I know the area well. After all this is RI and there's not too much to know!! I'm in Portsmouth, which is on Aquidneck Island (Newport area.) It's a nice area, right on the water between Providence and Newport so there's a lot to do in the summer; Cape Cod and Boston are about an hour away from us. |

| Welcome and best of luck with the new pup! I spent a few months in Newport a while back, and my sister and brother in law are moving to Groton in a couple months. I love that area, it's really beautiful up there. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
