| I took Freya and the boys to the park. It's not a dog park or anything, but I see other dogs and their owners there from time to time. I kept Freya on the lead but ran her all over the park. It was great.
The bird life at this park is amazing, magpies and cockatoos everywhere. Freya thought it would be a GREAT idea to chase the birds, I let her becuase even my boys find it hard to resist chasing birds.
Unfortunatelly it must have triggered something in her. She was then nipping at my legs as I ran along side her, and chasing my boys as they ran and trying to nip at them when she got too close.
Is it normal for a Husky to see their own pack as prey? She hadnt done it before, it was just today. I've taken her to the park before, she was fine then. It was just today.

| I think it might have just gotten her wound up. My 3 killed a baby bird at the park the other day, they were going nuts all day after trying to find bunnies and birds in the yard all night. |

| I'm hoping so. She at one point nearly sunk her sharp little puppy teeth into my calf.

| That is not a prey issue she just wa son a high adrenaline level because of the bird chase. Huskies get hyper when they are excited. |

| I don´t think she would eat your cats because they normally are pack members to her, but prey drive gets stronger after they had success. |

| Our neighbours cat ran through our garden yesterday whilst I was grooming Luka - he jumped fences I thought he couldn't jump and chased this cat all over our road :/ after I got him back - he was so hyper for a good few hours. Its that adrenaline they get when they're on a chase, they get so excited and difficult to control!! |

| Anubis grew up with our cats, so they are pack for him but when he sees a cat outside he wants to chase it. He does this with our cats too because he wants to play with them, but I don´t want to find out which kind of chase it is when it comes to other cats |

| My cats are fine unless they move too quickly. Freya will walk past them no worries, but if they run, or act defensivelly towards Freya she will give chase. I believe it's in fun as well tho. |

| maggie is known as the serial killer at my house. Her prey drive is very high. I can't even count how many dead animals I find in the dog yard or brought to my lap. |

She's giving you a gift, a nice cold, dead, limp gift. Thats love lol. Freya gets a beating from the cats too. She isnt very observant obviously lol. Saxon my 7yo cat he is A LOT more patient with her than Julie, my 3 yo cat. Julie has got zero time of day for her. She just has to look at her nad she gets a hiss and a spit. |
