| Meet Diesel - mostly husky mixed with adorable! House trained and ready to go home! Located at the Carson, CA shelter. Around 60-70 lbs. DIESEL - ID#A4385412 http://animalcare.lacounty.gov/AdoptDetails.asp?AnimalID=A4385412 Super friendly little guy who was DYING to play with me, and so so friendly. Volunteers also have good things to say about him! I went to go see him last night at the shelter to evaluate him. - and he is sooooo adorable! Very friendly, no food aggression (he was licking my hand over his full food bowl, then started eating, then walked away from the food bowl), loves human interaction - he walked towards me at the far end of the kennel was I was trying to get the attention of Tiger a few kennels down from him. I gave him my hand to smell, and he started licking it. He even pawed the kennel wire trying to get me to pet him! So friendly and cute! Very excited that I came to see him, but not crazy overly excited. Ate the treats I gave him nicely. He looks to be in pretty good condition - the shelter staff told me this is the 3rd time he's gotten out of the yard (he's a husky, people!) and the owner has until the 22nd to claim him (they have a call into the owner). If they don't claim him, whoever adopts him will have a very fun and sweet new best friend! A volunteer reports "This is from one of the volunteers who took him out: He is friendly, likes to run. He is very strong needs leash training although it could have been due to the fact that he is house trained and held quite a bit of #1 and #2. Loves to play keep away with the ball. He fetched and drops the ball. No aggression, just very playful " Another volunteer reports after a brief visit: "Diesel is a sweetheart apparently! May be around 60+lbs, so quite possibly a mix? Although he looks rather afraid in the photo he is quite relaxed and outgoing, at the moment..." Some videos: https://youtu.be/S31QLE9pI88 https://youtu.be/Xd3NiSxdoYk |

| He actually looks less like a Shiba in person, and is pretty big (70 lbs-ish). Less tan more grey in person. And adorable! I hope he finds a home, FiveSibes passed on his info to their fans!
