That's Boomer a woolly red. He was handsome! He's also in the 4th from the top in the background. |

| He's a wooly? His coat doesn't look that 'wooly' - maybe his tail fur is a little longer from what I can see....but he's handsome! _________________ |

He's got long hair with a very downy coat, just the camera angle I guess. |

| What a unique coloring of that white with the gray/black head Husky. Made it look almost like an Akita. (6th photo) |

| Before we adopted Ginger, we checked out the Akita rescue and they had a male Akita/Husky mix, Toby, that was just so cute. When we went to meet him, I broke out in hives up my forearms, and my eyes got so bloodshot red like hubby never saw before, that he was ready to take me to emergency - he hasn't seen me have an allergy reaction like that before.
Toby was mostly white with black/grey patches, almost like a piebald husky, but with a face more like an Akita.
Needless to say, my allergy reaction was to the Akita side....
Isn't is just weird/amazing/interesting/etc. that I'm allergic to almost every breed except Huskies?!

Yes, Claudia, I agree!! I am terribly allergic to cats, and most dogs. So is my man, Ty. He was so worried when we got Neptune, that we would both react and not be able to have him. My allergies are another reason that I never really had any dogs. After spending a good bit of time with the husky pups and their parents, I knew whatever reaction I was going to have would of happened by that point. Neither of us have had any allergic reaction at all to either Neptune or Calypso. Sweet! |

That's me too! I'm allergic to most animal fur and dander. I spent 2 hours in a small room, ceiling fan going, 1 window - husky hair all over blowing, and there must have been one husky sitting next to me on the couch, Ginger between my feet on the floor, and 2 more other huskies in the room. No reaction! _________________ |
