| Ghost is ~21" and 42 lbs, and is only about a week younger than Polar. I think she's going to be a big girl... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | They grow 95% in their first year. After a year they won't get much taller, just start filling out. _________________ -Sara |

| I think there's a thread about this somewhere, but I'll repeat:
We've gathered information from across boards and it seems that generally, huskies will grow fairly steadily until 7-10 months of age in height and weight. After that they plateau for a while before hitting another spurt around 15-18 months. They might grow a bit more in height at that time, but they will definitely begin to fill out from then until they are at least 2 years old. Some huskies even continue to grow until they are 3.
To give you an idea, at 7 months old, Koda was about 22" and 45lbs. He is not 23.5" and 60 lbs at 5 years old (yes, I missed another birthday. I'm an awful momma, lol). _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

No wonder I keep saying that Kody looks bigger all of a sudden! He's 16 months and out of nowhere has filled out some and is definitely taller than Mya! I measured him and he's 23.5 inches also and Mya is 22 inches. I need to get this boy weighed! |
